Shropshire Mental Health Support is currently recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to cover the following vacancies.
Shropshire Mental Health Support is a multi-award-winning independent charity based in Abbey Foregate. We support people living in Shropshire with their mental health needs.
Due to demand and expansion, we have opportunities to join a dynamic and passionate team and share in the successes and positive difference that SMHS makes to people's lives.
SMHS offers a wide range of services and groups that support people with their mental health and wellbeing needs.
Dual Diagnosis Outreach Department – 30 hours per week – Shrewsbury Base
A & E Outreach Department – 15 hours per week - Shrewsbury Base
Short Term Outreach Department – Various hours per week - Shrewsbury Base
Part-time Calmer Café Support workers in: Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Bridgnorth, Ludlow
If you have experience of working and/or supporting people living with mental health challenges, if you have an insight into service provision and are passionate and dedicated to supporting people with a truly person-centred approach, then we would like to hear from you.
We are dedicated to empowering individuals facing mental health challenges, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and understood. Our mission is to raise awareness, deepen understanding, and nurture empathy in communities, so no one has to face their difficulties alone.
Training and ongoing support are essential and will be provided.
Rate of pay: £12.80 per hour plus mileage
You will need to drive and own your own car or have access to a car.
