Loves to connect and communicate 🙋🏼♀️
Emma is an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, supporting patients, the public and leadership to create positive transformation in healthcare.
With over 9 years professional experience in projects, healthcare service development and partnership and engagement work, she is able to confidently challenge the status quo and help healthcare professionals find their ‘eureka’ moments.
As a previous unpaid carer to her late mother, who was diagnosed with brain metastasis in 2006, Emma’s interests have a strong focus on bringing the patient and public voice to the decision table, leadership development, health and wellbeing, human factors, research and innovation, preventative care, integrated care, support and information for unpaid carers and improvement in End of Life Care services.
Her passion is supporting others to be their best selves.
Emma has worked and volunteered across various levels and sectors in healthcare, including 3rd sector, the independent sector, social enterprise, the NHS and is now a Patient and Public Voice Partner on national working groups for the Innovation, Research and Life Sciences group with NHS England and NHS Improvement.
Music, dark chocolate, an active lifestyle and spending time in nature help her to stay balanced.
She is adaptable to change & always on the look out for learnings and new challenges.
