Mother and son arranged a very special charity event on Friday night to pay tribute to an ‘incredible friend’ and raise valuable funds for mental health charities.
Chrissy has lost 3 people to suicide, the first one was when she was 18, a really close friend, she also lost her cousin when he was 16 and recently on the 8th November she lost her brothers partner.
Chrissy describes her as an amazing partner, mother and friend. “She was only 35 and, we are all feeling the huge gap that is left. Especially her 3 beautiful children and my brother. ”
Dougie, her son who is 18 is a member of Dorrington YFC, he has always been passionate about raising awareness with mental health in the farming community
The event was a huge success!!
Chrissy and Dougie’s event raised £8792.00 to split between their 3 chosen charities donating a fantastic £2930.00 to MHS Shropshire
