Chrissy’s story
I have lost 3 people to suicide
1st one was when I was 18 and he was a really close friend, growing up I lost my cousin when he was 16 and recently on the 8th November we lost my brothers partner. She was a amazing partner, mother and friend.
She was only 35 and, we are all feeling the huge gap that is left. Especially her 3 beautiful children and my brother.
My son Dougie who is 18 is a member of Dorrington YFC, he has always been passionate about raising awareness with mental health in the farming community.
This is why we have chosen both charities Shropshire Mental Health and DPJ foundation which is mental health support for the farming community. We want to raise as much money as possible and also to raise awareness.
